People that do this kind of thing do it because they themselves do not own anything of worth, whether it be a nice car, house or whatever. If they did, they would know the value (not just monetary wise) of working for something nice. Some people in this world are inherently scum. The attitude is that, "I don't own one, so let me ruin it for him/her".

I had a car, many years ago, scratched to hell. I had just gotten the car at the time.

In places like Europe or say esp. Singapore, the laws are very strict, and the punishment severe (not severe enough I think). Remember a number of years back, an American teenager living there or visiting (who the f remembers exactly) vandalized a number of cars. Insurance in Singapore is astronomical (if you think your insurance is bad in the U.S., go there or most Western European countries). The kid got caught; he was punished by getting whipped. There was all sorts of outcry from the U.S. govt.; quite honestly I don't think the US govt. gave a sh*t, but they had to make it look like they cared. The kid got the whipping, but less number of lashes than what would have normally been given. I hope the little mothrf****r learned a lesson. Doubtful though. You never heard of another incident afterwards, at least not in Singapore or for that matter anywhere else of this sort. Not that it doesn't happen... it does, but nothing of noteworthy.

I brought my G35 there a week ago, and I was scared, but luckily nothing happened. I parked in the new garage that they built. Where did you park your ride? Sorry to hear that brotha

i know.. it is a nice area.. i coulnd't believe it..

god... i think it's just when you go to an area with a lot of kids.. kids trying to be cool.. trying to act tough..

i parked in worse areas than this.. darker, more ghetto, more dangerous.. and never even had a door ding..

now i park in a nice area with a lot of people. and look what i get..
i parked in the parking structure. i dont know if it's new or not ,it looks new. i've only been in CA 6 months now so i wouldnt know
