Need Suggestion on Brake Pads

I have a 6mt G, so is got the stock Brembo system. Which pads are good for me? I do about 3-4 times of track each year and mostly street driving?

Was just on Tirerack looking around and see the Hawk HP Plus Race Pads seems good, but not sure if anyone has any suggestions. Also, Nismo has pads out.....so need some feedback if there any. Thanks.

I am also looking into pads and based on what I have read, Project Mu pads are supposed to be a lil better then the Hawks. They are comparable is the amount of dust but they have better stopping power. I think the 2 versions for street applications is the BForce and the NS. One being designed for more track use then the other, both however very streetable! I was going to try to get a group buy going for Project Mu pads in the near future, I just can't deal with the brembos dust anymore! It's ruining my wheels!

I have project mu b-force pads on my front. My rear still had plenty of pad left after 19k miles. Overall the pads feel great, theirs no fade and absolutely no noise or squeal at any times. Also my favorite part is brake dust is very, and I mean very minimal. If I dont clean my wheels for a week then their is more dust on the rear ones than on the front. On stock pads after a week my rears would be slightly dusty while my fronts would be black!

PS: I am on my stock rotors.

I have the Hawks, they stop great, VERY little dust but they squeel like crazy when coming to a slow stop. Overall other than the noise there great.

Do you guys recommend turning the rotors before the new pads get put on? Or is the Brembo rotor not turnable ??

Do not go with Hawk HP Plus race pads unless you track your car a lot. While helpful, they may even be overkill for Auto-X. They are definitely not daily drivers. They squeal at low speeds, no matter what you do. But they bite like crazy. I am currently running them in my fronts and the regular HPS in the rear for an upcoming track event. Afterwards, I'm going to swap them out for HPS in the front also. It takes about an hour to change the pads, so I'd recommend swapping between the HP plus and the HPS like I do only for track events.

I had my rotors replaced at 35k, by choice. They did have a decent lip to them, but were still good for several thousand more miles. I went with brembo slotted rotors for those track days. Nice to have.
