How to replace fog bulbs

I searched, and the link I did find to a page with instructions was dead.

From eyeballing it yesterday, looks like I have to remove the splash gaurd in each wheel well to get to the bulb. I'm looking for some good detailed instructions on how to do it. Link up something good, if you got it.

I don't remember the links, but it's really not that hard. Some people say you can just turn your wheels and squeeze your hand in there, but I couldn't I had to do it the long way:

1. Jack up your car (make sure to put the jack between the notches in the pinch rail)
2. remove the front tire (whichever side you lifted up)
3. remove the 6 (I think there's 6) plastic fasteners, 2 screws, and 1 bolt for the plastic wheel well liner (the bolt is under the front bumper).
4. Bend the liner away from the headlights, don't worry, it's pretty flexible.
5. Find the back of the fog housing and unscrew the back cover (it has 2 wires coming out of the middle of it).
6. Remove the fog light plug from the back of the bulb, just pull it off.
7. Squeeze the spring clips together to loosen the bulb
8. Slide the bulb out and replace with your new fogs (don't touch the glass of the bulbs).
9. Put it back together in reverse order.

As a note, if you're gonna change your clearance lights or your corners, you may as well do it all at once. Like I mentioned, you might be able to get your hand in the liner without taking the wheel off, but its a lot easier to do with the wheel off and you don't have to fish around blind if you don't know what you're looking for. Good luck.

Easiest thing to do is jack your front wheel tire up, just enough that the frame of the car lifts up so you can get between the wheel and the light. Right in front of the wheel there, you have to take out the plastic fasteners to bend the liner away from the light area. Then you can get to the fog and clearance bulbs easily. Just don't touch the bulb when replacing and check to make sure they work before you put everything back together. I had someone do mine, but they showed me how to do it and it is very easy.

You DO NOT have to remove the tire at all.

this is how i did mine:

1) Jack the front of the car up a little so you can reach into the wheel well area easier..

2) turn front wheel in on side your working on.....

3) remove the five (5) black plastic fastners ( you lift the center portion with a small flat screw driver, then remove the entire fastner)

4) there are two (2) phillips head screws on the top of the wheel well fender lip....remove them as well...

5) You should now be able to pull down the wheel well liner from the top center....this will give you access to the back of the headlight assembly.

6) Locate the fog light cap (red and yellow line) and twist the cap counter clockwise.

7) Locate retainer ring and use your thumb and index finger to squeeze in until the retainer ring is loose and drops down. (The bulb is loose at this point.)

8) Use a clean/dry towel and carefully pull the bulb out from the fixture.

9) Use a clean/dry towel and carefully insert the new bulb into the fixture.

10) Carefully insert the bulb into the housing.

11) Pull the retainer ring up and squeeze it back in against the back of the fixture.

12) Test to see if the fog light turns on.

13) Seal the cap clockwise

14) Push the wheel fender back in and tighten the screw and tabs and you are done.
