Leased lately?? Please help with residual value

I'm starting my search for either a G35 coupe or a 350Z in the next week or so, and I wanted to know from those who have leased lately what the residual value is currently at? Also, what money factor can I expect to pay with excellent credit and 15K miles/year? I have most of my research except for these two items. Are the dealers haggling for the G's, or are they being stingy?

Thanks

the residual is @ 61%..

try this lease calculator out.. http://www.leaseguide.com/calc.htm
also, to get an idea how much you can haggle, check out the car price on www.carsdirect.com, thats the most you would want to pay for.

It wouldn't hurt to email the internet sales guys at the dealerships and ask them for a quote and the money factor to get you started. They will be more than glad to supply you that information.

I have most of the information I need. I even have a copy of the actual invoice of what infiniti paid for the car (Not the car i'm looking at, but similar models) and its less than what the invoice prices on-line show. Thanks for the cars direct link, it will be put to good use. I did my own lease calculator in excel, but was missing the residual.

The residual value depend on how long the lease term is...and percentage is calcalated from MSRP...and its from Auto Leasing Group.

24mos...68
36mos...58
48mos...48

When I was looking to lease I found the Edmunds Lease Questions board to be very informative. Search the discussion for G35 and you'll see several posts about current residuals, money factors, etc from Infiniti Financial.

That link is great! Thanks a bunch! I didn't realize the MF was as low as it is. What are the chances that I get a MF that is in the .002 range?

I got money factor in the 0.002 range (can't quite remember) about 3 month ago, but I think interest have gone up since. I have a FICO of 750 with only 3 years of credit history (the length of credit history did hurt me a bit). I think i could have gotten a MF <0.002 if had a credit history of 5 years thru Wells Fargo.

You will not get less than .002, you can't get lower than the current money factor rate....but you can get higher. I got .003xxx something because I found out I had a credit fraud on my account and it was too late to get the mf lower. The lease residual depends on lenght of lease, how many miles you want and it will get lower as you go through the year........I got mine at 60% with 15k/year and 39months, that residual value may be a little lower now since we are halfway through the year.

I have to wait till the first week of July, but I will be leasing for either 36 or 39 months, no money down (other than the first payment and any other required fees), and I definately need 15K miles per year. The link above said that for June Infiniti financial services was at .00199 and 59% residual value. Next is insurance... $1400 for 6 mo.!

That cars direct site is IS the best one IMO. Having just leased 2 other cars in 1.5 years and doing tons of internet market value research each time, I must say I wish I had gone there before I bough both times. They sites all start to run together after a while because, most, with the exception of Edmunds, suck.

I'm quite relieved that the price they had was 1000 more than what I paid for my Touareg. The TVM price for Edmunds was higher than Cars Direct by 2K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought I hit the jackpot - now it makes sense.

Too bad Infiniti doesn't offer .00015 (yes that's 3 zeros before the 1) or .6% apr equivalent that VW offered us. 500 bucks interest charge over the 3 year lease term made me gasp as I read the deal sheet. Too bad it took 3 dealers to get there...
