LED tail lights were NOT pioneered by Nissan. I believe the first main stream production car to have a form of LED lighting in the tail light cluster was the '97 Cadillac Catera. Strangely enough they only used it for the rear and front turn signal. Also, BMW didn't "follow suit" with LEDs tail lamps they came out the same time the G did. The 2003 BMW M3 has a FULL LED (Stop AND turn signal) cluster in the back. So you could even say they have a more advanced rear signal system than the g's LED stop/conventional bulb turn signal.

Oh please. You don't own a freaking Ferrari. You should come to the NYC metro area where the G35 is almost as popular as any BMW.

But yeah, leave the angel eyes for BMWs.

Angel eyes on any car that didn't come from the factory? Rice.

Might as well put some pink neon underneath and some LED exhaust tips.

notice how i NEVER said we PIONEERED or INVENTED the LED, but merely stated we were ONE OF the first to use it. besides its a caddy....an unsuccessful one which is NO longer in production. And although both the 3 series and the G35 both may have LED tail lights and launched in 2003 the G35 launched first.

Notice how everyone in the thread agrees that angel eyes on an Infiniti or any other car not BMW is stupid. I already think angel eyes on a car that doesn't come with angel eyes from the factory is pushing it a little. Yes it's your car and you can do what you want with it. That's why there are civics that look like batmobiles because it's their car and they can do what they want. If I see your g35 coming up with angel eyes, at least you'll be know what i'm thinking.

The 3 series coupes and convertible models did not get LED tail lght until the 2004+ model years. The M3 had it in the 2003 model run. If you are talking about which car launched first the E46 platform was launched in 1999 and ended with the 2005 model year for the sedan (2006 is the last year for the E46 coupes/convertible)

LED High rear stop lights have been used for over a decade in cars. If you are talking about tail lamps Cadillac also used a full LED (Brake AND Turn) signal assembly in the 2000 Cadillac De Ville. I am not trying to start a flame war. You are trying to imply that the G35 started some sort of charge to LED lighting in automobiles. This is simply not true. They jumped on the bandwagon.

You're right. Then again I wouldn't want everyone thinking i'm a f a g for putting angel eyes on my Infiniti. (I don't own an Infiniti G35)
