Its fully refundable. I was about to make a purchase in Jersey on a new 04 but changed my mind b/c of shipping cost. Deposit was placed on my Discover. Oh yeah I am in Texas

Deposits are fully refundable by law. Here in NJ, I had left a non refundable deposit for over 6 months. Then bought the car elsewhere (long story). Of course the dealer did not want to give me my deposit and also told me that it was non refundable when I give it to them. They give me a hard time but when I started taliking about the law, etc. they refunded me!! This was told me by another dealer that they would have no choice.
