where can I buy V1 RADAR detector
Yes it detects laser and radar. k, ka, x, and laser. Depending on how strong the signal is, it beeps in different tones depending on what it detects quite ways away from the source, sometimes up to 2 miles. Saved me a million times. best out there imo.

I got lasered the other day, V1 does a great job. It alerts you with a diff tone depending on the band type.
go to jammertest.com and check out the stealth mode radar vs Valentine/passport and you'll see how passport did nothing when being DIRECTLY aimed by a stealth mode laser detector. The V1 sitting on its side, alerted.

^ Yeah I dont know what happened to that site, they had a lot of videos. Try checking later. (It has been off for a while though).

Here's a couple crappy pics. I hardwired mine with the remote display right by the driver's A-pillar to give me a good line of sight, but I had to mount the V1 high to improve the laser's reception (according to V1).

At the beginning of the owners manual, you will see a list of things that come with the V1. One of those is the Hard wire cable.
I forgot to mention, the V1 cable even comes with a ground cable... so its the 2 socketed female phone jacks (V1 and Consealed display if you want it) with two cables comming out of it. One for the Fusebox and other is ground.
www.jammertests.com is being remodeled. Wait one week and check back. You will see why V1 is better than escort. Escort didnt detect Stealth mode laser (even when laser was pointed DIRECTLY at it) while the V1 did (while laser was being pointed to the Escort to the side).
Klumzyee - I think you do get 1 year of free upgrades. http://www.radardetector.net people post saying so.
