Check this out. Get a mirror with homelink to display your v1 in concealed fashion. Still need to buy the V1 though. Rather pricey, but clean.

From what I've seen in SoCal, most cops use radar. Plus you have to be stationary to use laser IIRC. I've had my V1 for a few weeks now, but I've also used my roommate's V1 over the past year, and all the cops we spotted were showing up as radar, not laser.

 

doesnt the passport detect lasers too???

 

I dont know exactly how far it goes off but i know the passport detects both radar and laser...my brother has the passport S2 and he gave me his old one. I do remember the radar reading "laser" on the screen before
