I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that you'll be getting your G35 in the IP color(white)?

You should get a different color, just to be different from your friends.

Completely disagree. I can't remember a single thread where the consensus was as you state. There are a wide range of opinions here and there are some folks that hold it against the younger guys for being able to drive such a nice car at such a young age.

Nobody ever said life was fair.

If good fortune comes your way and you're able to score a G, more power to you. Anyone at any age can be irresponsible behind the wheel - it doesn't take much reading here to figure that out.

Don't worry about tarnishing the G's name, worry about tarnishing YOUR name and breaking the trust your parents are placing in you by buying you such a nice gift. Treat it right, take care of it, and it'll look sweet and treat you well for a long time.

From a guy almost 42 - enjoy your new car.

I understand what he's sayin I only see older people driving these cars or at least 5-10 years older than me. Man I had a 96 TransAm when I was 17. I wouldve been on top of the world if I was 17 and had one cause I'm only 21 and I feel on top of the world having one. Treat it well and Enjoy it!!!!!

i was in your same boat except i was planning on getting an sti. when i got a g35 i got flamed by all the suby guys because they thought i was too young. i recently got it and let me tell you the wait will be worth it. when you get it, break it in nice and easy, then drive it like you stole it.

I got the car back when I was 16 but understood what it meant to get a car like that at such a young age.. Don't take this car for granted, and always respect the machine.
