I got a quote for an extended warranty. Bumper to Bumper, covers everything except wear items and paint. Its for 7 years. Basically I have 2 years left on my factory warranty for bumper to bumper. So i'm paying for 5 years of additional coverage (less the powertrain warranty).

the quote was for $1100. is that a good deal?

Is it a warranty from Infiniti or some other company?

The factory bumper-to-bumper from Infiniti has a term of 4 years and 60k miles. Infiniti's extended warranty extends the term 3 additional years for a total of 7 and the mileage up to 100k. If you can get this for $1,100 that is a steal......cost on that package is around $1300 and dealers mark them up to twice that amount.

If the extended warranty you are being offered is not an Infiniti product, be careful......the warranty is only as good as the company backing it.....if that company folds tomorrow, so does your warranty. My dealer offers both but they make more profit on the non-Infiniti warranty and that is the one they push to sell.

I doubt that's Infiniti's warranty, but yes that sounds like a decent price for the coveragel you mentioned.
