Worth it. Price seems a little high though. I believe I paid $110 including tax here in the Chicago area.

from what i saw in the service manual only the oil change is necessary until 15k then you have to change the cabin microfilter and probably clean/change your intake filter... I opted for just the oil change when they told me the same thing... as long as you check your fluids, tires and your brakes aren't acting strange you should be ok...

They almost perform the same thing with the 35 dollar oil change LOOOOOL except stupid esh like the dome lights or adjust parking brake....plus your under warranty. If this Japanese car is anything like its other counterparts (Honda, Toyota, etc...) then just oil changes for life (while under warranty)...Checking **** is bullshlt. Doing shlt is what you should be paying for. If anything goes wrong, your under warranty so don't worry about it. Plus its a Japanese car, so it won't do you wrong (but I am starting to doubt this for the G35...)

Just get the oil change......that is all that is needed for the 7,500 mile service on the coupe. On Sedans, the 7,5000 mile service includes a balance and rotate of the tires.....since the coupe has different size tires for the front and back, a rotate cannot be performed. So on your coupe, if there are no tire balance issues, you only need the oil change. Pay your $40 and put your $100 saved towards mods.

NOT all japanese cars are built like toyotas and hondas. when we talk bout quality japanese cars, it starts with toyota and ends with honda..thats it.
Nissan is coming to live in the past few years, but the "quality" and "reliability" is not up to the toyota and honda level. however, Nissan is building much more exciting cars these days thats a good thing. the bad thing is, these exciting cars are not built with great reliability..i dont have to list it all....problems have been documented EVERYWHERE!

all in all, i would still get the G instead of a Camery or Accord... cuz its jsut more exciting... guess we just have to live with some of the nagging problems.

Sure they are built like toyotas and hondas. Just not 100% like them. They still have japanese reliablity and build quality. The order is just Toyota, Honda, Nissan. Still miles better than GM, Ford, or Diamler of course.

"Acura, Honda, Infiniti, Lexus, Mazda, and Toyota have been the most reliable makes over the past five model years, based on the average problem rates."

"Honda, Nissan, Mazda, and Toyota were among the makes well represented in the top ranks of reliability."

Funny people give such high props for Euro cars being reliable.

I had more problems with my 00 celica GTS and my 01 Acura Cl-S than with my current G35.....The only reason toyota (mainly lexus) gets such high praise is due to their superior customer service. I have read many articles showing how lexus is always at the top of JD power is because they make sure their customers are treated well. If you have a minor problem with your lexus you immediately get a loaner, not a rental but a brand new loaner, even with a basic oil change. A woman was questioned about the reliability of her car and she said she has never had any problems with her car when in fact she had brought her car in a few times for work. When confronted about this she said that she ignored those problems because she was treated so well.
