I have a spoiler, and I like the look WAY better without the spoiler

But due to a dealer screwup I didnt even have to pay for that package. I had all intents of going no spoiler from the start. At least it still looks good though i just think it makes the azz look even fatter.

 

I'm generally a fan of spoilers on cars, but I think the G's stock spoiler is about the worst design flaw I've ever seen from a factory. The harsh flat ironing board shape COMPLETELY conflicts with and negates the smooth lines of this car. If you really want a spoiler, consider an aftermarket one...

To me it looks like a mercury cougar from the rear without the spolier.. not to affend anyone but it looks like ya couldn't afford the G with the wing so you took what you could get.. just to get into one

 

got my G without NAV or Sunroof. Had the spoiler added. Gotta love the look. still would look good without it, but my opinion is that it's better with. GO FOR IT!!

 

how did you get it added? at a dealer? And did you get an OEM one or aftermarket?

Did you get the underbody diffusers too?

 

I like the spoiler. Although the G looks awesome without it, I think the spoiler completes the look. Just my opinion.

I am one that decided against the spoiler. Looks better without IMO. I got the car maxed otherwise with premium and NAV. I do like the little lip aftermarket ones - just have not taken the time to get one, get it painted, and installed.

I agree with the ironing board comment above - they extended it too far off the sides I think.

 

the factory spoiler really brings the car together

 

the factory one looks good on certain colors, i have an IP and i have just the impul center piece on. G's without a spoiler at all does look like it's missing something, none the less they all look good with or without.

 

I think there's already been a poll on this, but I'm in the no spoiler crowd. I've got a black coupe and the profile is similar to the 300ZX without spoiler.

As for it being functional, I believe the entire aero package drives the coefficient of drag by 0.01. I doubt most people are driving fast enough to notice.

 

I got my black G without a spoiler. I thought I wanted to add one but the more I look at them, I dont care for it. I agree with the design flaw comment. I do think the front lip spoiler looks good. I also think they look alot better without the front plate. Unfortunatly mine already had one
