Why can't the G even hit 13's with mods, well most people can't...I guess there might be a slight few.

There is absolutely no reason why a bonestock G35 6MT couldn't pull a 13.4-13.5@101+mph on a set of 26" slicks on 15" rims. With the typical bolt-ons like the Z had, there's no reason why the G couldn't go very low 13s on slicks. The reason the Zs are significantly faster and quicker is because these guys race a lot more than the G owners. A majority of G owners could care less about racing and care more about bling like if they can stuff rediculously staggered 20" rims. Most Z owners are the exact opposite. There is a ton of potential in the G, it just hasn't been revealed yet. The only real disadvantage in the G chassis is the 120-170lb weight penalty.
my goal is to get into the 12's n/a also.. i think its possible i have pretty much all those mods except the reflash plus i have headers and pulleys so it can be done guys.. also if you need that extra accel there is a 3.9 final drive gear that will surely get you in the 12's low 13's ill find the slicks and wheels after i finish all my stuff.. by then there should be a reflash for the 05's

Put a set of them on your G, launch perfectly and you may see a '13' .
Track conditions would be another part of a quick time like he got too. They must have been perfect too.

that is so sick. Thats pretty damn embarassing for the TT car with that guy driving so well. The G has just as much potential as the Z, it can be done. That must have been awesome to watch.
If thats the guy I ran yesterday..he got a 11.9 @ 115 when I ran him and even though I was out of the hole before he was he funking blasted me with a 1.75 60'. I've never been so walked on and it was great. I was standing still. By 60 measly feet he was a good 8 car lenghts in front! That turned into my worst run of the day as I edged off to watch him. Amazing car.
It's pretty crazy how well he did. Props to the driver.

I havent been to track lately so I could be totally wrong but if RT stands for reaction time, then it has nothing to do with the 1/4 time and he would have done the same...Some people just take some time to launch properly. I think RT only counts if you're heads up.

correct, reaction time is NOT factored into your 1/4 time. All it does is determine who wins the race. A car car run a 14.5, and if he has a perfect launch/reaction time, can beat a car to the 1/4 who ran a 13.5 with a 1.1 reaction time. Just an example
