rotor question
rotor question
Are these two rotors the same? The ones from brakeworld look like they are drilled AND slotted, and also have more holes. However, they both say they are Brembo sports...so I'm not sure. Any ideas?

I believe they are the same, you have the option of getting them drilled, slotted or both. They are both just using some random Brembo pic, not pics of the actual part. I would suggest on getting blanks or slotted only.
FYI... brembo slotted and drilled rotors weigh about 11% more than the stock brembo rotors that come with the car. http://www.racingbrake.com/ offers a two piece rotor with a lifetime warranty against cracking, for the slotted rotors. Most places that use a brembo or generic blank and slot them on their own, usually don't offer a warranty. Their rotors are also lighter than the stock rotors.
I had already purchased the official brembo slotted rotors before I found out about racing brake. They were a sponsor at a NJ Z/G event this weekend where I found out this info.
