Also, my CD player had this problem and I figured my CD's were going to be lost for 6 months. Then all of a sudden it started working again, so I was able to get them back....has this happened to anyone else? I am still going to bring it in, but if they can't reproduce the problem then I'm worried they won't replace it.

I'm on head unit #2. The last one was supposed to be the "latest fix", however it's worthless. Speakers cut out on the left and the right (sometimes all at once) but only when the cd player is operating.
I wished Infiniti would let me get a double din under warranty and to heck with these new head units...
Head unit #3 here I come...

Check this out, the ones for the Maxima's were so horrible, that just about every one had the same problem of a dead cd player, or dead display. I even ended up fixing them and made a website on how to do it...you won't belive how many people had that problem. I really hope the G's aren't in for the same thing...[/semirant]

Guess I'm just a little steamed that I "fell for it again"
