AC Fan Speed Acting Strange

Hi everyone.

I just got my 05 coupe a few weeks ago and have noticed that occasionally when I have the AC fan on high it will drop down to a lower speed for a few seconds and then come back to high speed.

Has anyone else had this happen or does it sound like a potential problem in the making?

Thanks in advance,
Sooner

I am assuming you are talking about the manual mode?

If so, that sounds normal to me. It could just be kicking on your engine bay fans, causing a small power diversion?

.....and the auto mode needs a little time to sense the conditions then kick up the fan accordingly. Sounds normal to me.

Yes, in the manual mode. Seems to be a little more severe of a reduction than I would expect from a power diversion.
