I skipped it because I thought $2k was a lot to pay for directions. Although there is no denying it's a cool toy! So far, in three weeks worth of ownership, I've never said to myself - dang, I wish I'd have gotten the NAV. Although if it would show you approx. how many mile you had left before you were pushing your car to the gas station that might have been worth it.

Oh, and that price is great. Just above what I paid via VPP for premium, splash, aero and trunk mat.

I just paid 33,900 with premium and splash gaurds, no nav. I tried to get 35k with the nav, but I couldn't get it.

I don't think the navi is worth the 2k. just my opinion.

I would go with the lakeshore slate. I went back and forth and settled for the IP, I kinda wish I had gotten the slate, but I like the one I have. Plus there are too many DG's on the road.

it does. i got every possible option on my dg/graphite coupe and i dont regret it at all. my nav screen is always on the fuel economy page b/c i know how to get around my area well enuff that i dont need the map all the time. i think the nav is worth it and if u ever decide to resell it could benefit you greatly. my 2 pennies
