I'm used to the car telling me that I need gas through the Nav but for some reason the last time it went empty it didn't say I needed gas until I was out. Well out according to the computer anyway I still had at least 2 gallons. It was just odd that it never came uup like it usually does. Has this happpened to anyone else?

 

My nav said "****" (meaning 0 miles to empty) yesterday a.m. 17.7 gallons filled it.

 

Yeah it tends to tell you that your out of gas when you have at least a 3 gallon reserve. but mine usually tells me that I need gas when I have around 30 -50 miles to go and last night it didn't tell me till I was past empty. Just wierd

Nah I didn't run out of gas but It was odd that the Nav didn't pick up on the fact that I was almost out like it usually does.

 

She might have went on her coffee break and missed that fact when she returned.

yeah it seems that the nav has a mind of it's own. i have run out of windshield washer fluid twice before and the nav never said anything, well i am low again and what do you know , my nav warned me that i was low. i had no idea it was supposed do that especially since it did not do that the other 2 times????
