creaking armrest?

Does anybody else have a creaking armrest? Usually when i put my arm on it when i'm driving, it'll squeak and stuff as my arm moves along with the vibrations/movements of the car.

Yeah, I have the same thing happening. I think it's the magnets rubbing against the metal in the armrest (or the other way around). Anyone have a good fix? I was thinking of some thin tape over the magnets but I haven't really looked at it closely yet.

I'm surprised it doesnt seem like more people have this problem?

I wonder if the dealer can fix this.. if this is common enough i imagine there should be a TSB for it..

Yes, I have that issue with my '05 6MT center arm rest. There is a slight squeaky sound, if you will, when I rest my elbow on the arm rest. Most of the time my right hand is either on the shifter or the steering wheel, so it really is not that bad.

Dont know what dealer is near you, but I had a squeeking noise coming from my windsheild. Ray Catena Infiniti was extremely helpful this morning while I had my oil change to fix the squeeking noise, and its perfect now. Even got a free car wash

If your car is under warranty, there shouldn't be any reason that any Infiniti dealer will refuse to fix that.

It is the metal/magnet interface. Try cleaning that area... for some reason after I wiped the heck out of it and then did some wd40 on a paper towel to 'dress' it... squeeky all gone.
