Im not sure what they consider problems? But the 03 G35 had a lot and if everyone reported the TSB things like grease marks the number could get really high.. Again I don't understand the ratings so I could be wrong.

Actually Daimler bought Chrysler and after a year fired all Chrysler executives supplanting them with their own execs. As a result cars like the 300C have been produced. Problems with the MB line have nothing to do with Chrysler. They have their own quality control issues.

I believe those figures were for the 2002 model year.

Great! Thank you for sharing the information. It was great to see that Infiniti ranked well. Considering that chart was based on 2002 model cars (after a 3 year ownership survey), I would only assume that any current rankings will have improved . . . Since the Infiniti product has improved.

Is that true?

Nissans in USA are actually made in USA? And the Japan Nissans are made in Japan? If that is what you are saying, can anyone verify this?

Anyway, great to see Infiniti up at the top! They make great cars, and are only improving. If you look at Infinitis lineup, it really is truly impressive as well. 10 years ago, you wouldn't dare see Infiniti coming out with cars like the G35 Coupe, the FX, or the M45. Now these cars dominate the competition. Just about every road test you look at the G35 and M45 kick the competitions ***. If I could have two cars, it would probably be a G35 coupe along with an M45.

If you look at the USDM and JDM Nissan lineups, the only 2 vehicles which have the Nissan badge both in the US and in Japan are the Murano and 350Z. These are the only 2 US-sold Nissans made in Japan. The Japanese lineup includes a whole bunch of 4 bangers not offered here plus all the vehicles sold with an Infiniti badge in the US but with a different name in Japan. Notice no Armada sold in Japan. The Teana is the Maxima, but I don't see anything to be an Altima equivalent other than the G sedan is offered with a 2.5L engine.

No this is for a three year span of cars born in 2002, with the survery closing out at mid 2005...so roughly a 3 year poll on problems experienced within those 3 years. Next year the G35 can play...
