Hello fellow G35 drivers!

Well my long awaited G35 pickup day has arrived. I am the proud owner of a 2005 G35 Coupe, 5AT. It doesn't have the premium package or any other options besides the performance tire and wheel package, but this is SUCH a great car with its standard features, that I feel this is the best bang for the buck out of any car in its class, hands down. I couldn't be happier!

I was initially going for a 6MT, but after test driving three of them versus the 5AT, I just fell in love with the 5AT. It feels so smooth and the manual mode is a real joy! I've driven nothing but manual cars all my life, and I think this will be a great first car for an automatic (especially when I supercharge it down the road ).

Here are the pics!

PS - The wheel gap seems a bit exaggerated due to the uneven ground, and I already have plans up my sleeve to "correct" that anyway... but for a while I think I am going to enjoy it in its stock form!

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!! Now go have some fun. The white looks great. BTW I just got mine this month. I traded in a Mercedes and this car is 10 times better at half the price.

Congrats! Nice pictures. I really like pictures of the white G taken under shades. I have tried but failed to have any decent pitures under the sun. The details will be all lost.
Enjoy your new ride.

Thanks for the compliments. Coming from a black car, I am REALLY looking forward to years of relativley maintainence-free paint care. This car is a true dream to drive and over the course of time with the help of other enthusiaists on this forum, I know I will love it for years to come.

I just got an Athens Blue coupe with no prem. package and only the performance wheel and tire package like you, I was a little upside down on my WRX that I was trading in so I didn't want to spend the extra money to get the premium package, it would be nice to have those options but the car is awesome in its stock form. I was debating on getting white or the athens blue, I love the white but I figured I would go for something a little different.

I really don't think you'll miss the premium package; I know I won't. In my opinion, the cabin is too small for dual climate control, the moon roof is too short to be effective and cuts headroom too much, I can turn my own headlights on and off, and the stock stereo sounds better than the Bose. The only thing I wish I had was the Homelink, but I'm told I can add that later for $250.

Post pictures of your ride!
