My estimate, based on discussions here and published numbers for the 6MT sedan, is 5.9 to 6.1 seconds.

6.1s is my guesstimate. Don't forget the 05 is 64 lbs. heavier than the 03-04 autos.

Here's a link to some '03 published numbers (sorry it's MT but would imagine AT's a bit slower): http://motortrend.com/roadtests/seda...ct/index4.html I've heard motortrend doesn't get the best times out of a car but it's something.

I've also heard the '05's a hair faster in the quarter due to its increased top-end hp (even with the additional weight). 0-60 should be about the same or better in the '05 due to a higher red line and since the rear tires can hardly handle putting the 260 ft-lbs to the ground let alone 270.

It's not only power that makes a car faster, as conveyed in my previous post. Can the '04's get to 60 in 2nd? Just curious since a shift costs substantial time.

And I did want to reiterate that I understood ChazM's statement on the fact that AT's remained the same.

Thanks ChazM.

I have seen as low as 5.9 and as high as 6.1 in the 03-04 5AT's but these were somewhat generic mags that are not known for getting the best times. Also considering that any time you see will likely be during pre-break in. The AT's are more affectedduring pre-break in that the MT's. The quarter mile times that I have seen on stock coups have been consistent with the manuals.
