Wind noise at highway speed
Wind noise at highway speed
Anyone else experiencing wind noise crusing at highway speeds? I think it is coming from the windsheild wipers that are sticking way above the hood. I haven't seen any posts regarding this. Anyone else have similar problem? What's the fix?
Re: Wind noise at highway speed
There is very little windnoise.
what you are experiencing is Road-noise..... thats the price you have to pay when you have wide, low-profile tires with high psi pressure

I'd have to agree with Rambo, to me it sounds like road noise from the tires. From what I've gathered reading the reviews at tirerack.com, none of the stock G35 tires are very good in this respect. If you're willing to look at slightly different sizes you should be able to find something quieter the next time you buy tires though.

Re: Wind noise at highway speed
I get a funny intermittent wind noise that sounds like blowing into the top of a coke bottle. My wife thinks it's the tires, but I disagree. As for general wind noise, I think there is very little. Lots of tire noise from the Pilots on the 18s. This is to be expected though.
