question (crawford plenum)

i just installed a crawford z plenum, and the butt dyno feels no gain, in fact it feels slower. to feel the gains do you need to reset the ecu, if so is the 12 hour method the best?

Arrow Your choice...

From what I have read here, you have two methods. One I like and one is OK.

1. Drive the crap out of it! The ECU will learn on it's own.

2. Disconect the battery and push the brake pedal to bleed off the rest of the voltage that is in the caps of the electronics. Re-connect battery and Drive the Crap out of it.

I guess both are pretty fun!

You need to throw on a set of Crawford h/f cats before you really 'feel' the mods.

Also, just for fun, (after the cats are on) why not put on the stock airbox (or just a z-tube with the stock filter) back on instead of the CAI. See if you notice anything different then.
