DVD Players for navigation

Does anyone have any suggestions on a DVD player I can use in my car with my navigation unit? I am interested in one that I can put under my passenger seat so that it is accessible by my passengers while the car is in motion. I would like to do a PS2 or XBOX, but I think that both units may be too big to put under the seat and still have the seat be able to move. Does anyone have any suggesions or know if the old PS2 will fit? The new slim line PS2's won't work since the tray doesn't slide out anmore. It is a flip top.

I'd imagine just about any in-dash dvd player will work under the passenger seat. That's where I have mine. I have a cheapy Blackmore model. But I would look for something a little better than what I have.

Word of warning: If you put it there, it may be kicked to death by the folks in the back. Mine used to get regular abuse so I had to turn it to the side so the buttons couldn't be kicked.

That's true but the PS2 slim can fit in the glovebox. The only thing is you won't be able to close it with controllers plugged in (even the wireless receiver). But you can close it while playing a DVD or when not in use and it fits perfectly.
