back and sides look fine... front is a little off, noticable by the headlights.

well that is IF I can get my g next week.

I would choose fiberglass over urethane anyday. Read my sticky thread in the exterior forum.

Alot of people dont understand the way the automotive aftermarket world works. They prey on people who have the attitude of "I have an expensive car, so I should fork out alot of cash to buy stuff for my expensive car." People with Hondas pay 1/10 of what companies charge for G parts. And they're exactly the same thing!... a simple fiberglass bodykit! If you buy a replica, be smart and look for someone reputable, and look for an early generation copy. Dont buy it from a company that made a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy. With every generation, quality is lost. Its just like making a photocopy of a picture over and over. Also, the first few kits on a fresh replica mold will be much better than the last of the batch of kits on an authentic bodykit mold. Spending 3,000 on a bodykit is ridiculous. Buy a replica for a fraction of that price, and spend a couple hundred to modify it if it needs it. You're still saving thousands. I have a replica Mugen kit on my honda and have had it for 7 years and 3 accidents. Its still on my car with perfect fitment. Untill companies start lowering their prices to AT LEAST HALF their retail price, I'll always be in support of decent quality affordable replicas.

I purchased the replica front kenstyle from 350forums. Fitment turned out perfect actually. I dont know if you got unlucky or what, but mine turned out with no problems. The only thing i wasn't so happy about was all that gel they put over the bumper to make it seem really smooth and hide the fiber glass. All that gel has to be sanded off and then quite a few layers of primer has to be coated on to make sure the paint doesnt turn out wavy. Other than that, I cannot wait to pick mine up from the shop. Its gonna look awesome.

looks ok, most people that ive talked to that have the original kenstyle has had no problems with fitment issues, but if people cant afford to get the real one, the might as well get the fake one like all other parts right? It all comes down to, will you still feel good about yourself getting the fake one than the real one.

If it looks exactly like the real one and fits perfectly.. i would feel much better than if i paid a fortune to get the exact same thing...

It seems like rear/side fit like a charm still. Front does look a little off in a way,
but can't tell from the pics.

That kit's front/sides look simply beautiful. but rear is disgusting. very ricey.

You say "real" and "fake". I say "first" and "second". They're made of the same exact stuff. The ONLY major difference here is that one has the original mold, and the other has a mold off the orginal kit.

In general, just because its an immitation, doesnt mean that its worst than the original. Theres MANY replicas that have turned out to be much better than the originals, and some eventually overshadowed the originator and even took over!

My TS original fitment isn't that great, I would have gotten a replica too if they had one back then...
