I wonder if my fuel gage is off or if it is not filling all the way up.
My '03 Coupe's gas gauge did the same thing for a while: It was full but didn't show full on the gauge. I attributed it to a poor contact or faulty float/sending unit in the tank.
Anyway it reverted to going back to way above full and I thought no more of it.
In other cases I've heard of, the gauge is much worse and sometimes the needle shows progressively lower and lower. In that case a new sending unit is needed.

From what I can tell from mileage checks, the actual fuel above the 'F' and the fuel below the 'E' is about 3 gallons each.

I dunno if this applies to just certain cars but when I went to a big pump on my wrx when I pulled the pump out of the tank it had a huge screen type bag/pouch that was around the fuel pickup to act as I guess a first line of defense for the fuel system.

Awwwww man, I can't find either the Dilithium Crystals Panel, Flux Capacitor, nor the Continuoum Transfunctioner. Did they discontinue those for the '05 models?
