Actually, the 6MT Coupe gets pretty good gas mileage.....I regularly get mpg in the mid-20's. But your mileage may vary........

LOL mid 20's...Holy Christ you must drive that thing like it's frail. My best gas mileage has been 19 miles to the gallon, when i was breaking it in. Now I only get about 17.8. And I have the 6MT

Ha ha...hilarious.

Anyway, I'm getting about 18ish and drive her agressively at times but mostly just getting to the office and back to her garage.

25 mpg on a trip to Boise with the AC on.

Mid 20's for me as well(25.7 combined fuel economy over the past month or so). I'd recommend a Z-Tube and K&N filter as your first mods, since that will yield a guaranteed 1.0 to 2.3 MPG increase in fuel economy(Unless you really drive your car hard all the time).

Before the Z-Tube and K&N, I was getting about 22 or 23 MPG combined city/highway on my 6 speed 2004 G35 Coupe.... which is better than my 4 Cylinder 240SX gets.

There are a lot of hills in my area. My gas mileage for city driving with a
little highway driving mixed in has consistantly been 15-16mpg. This is with
moderate throttle and shifting at or below 3000RPM in every gear. This is
far worse than the 20mpg city listed on the window sticker.

On purely highway road trips, I get 25.4mpg average with the A/C on. This
is very close to the 26mpg highway listed on the window sticker.

I have a '04 6mt.

My previous car, a modified Mitsu Eclipse turbo had 40 more hp and got 22mpg
city/highway mixed driving.

Average 18.608 thus far, best 19.877 during break in and first drive back from dealer in Chicago. Worst, 18.20. Only 2000 miles worth of data though.

About 17 in the city but I'm either stopped or driving like a bat out of hell. On the highways with the cruise control set it's MUCH better.

Wow, I must do something wrong...

I get about 15 1/2 - 16mpg - 5AT, almost exlusively city driving though with occasional A/C. Probably doesn't help that I live in SoCal where they add stuff to the gas to give it less polution and less power.

There have been a lot of mileage discusisons on this board and mileage is always all over the place. One thing is for sure....the G35's mileage is more like a V8.

It seems the city/hwy mix has a big effect. Those of us in city traffic like LA get 15-17 mpg! One thing I have noticed is that once my car passed 20,000 miles, I started getting a few more mpg. Now I'm getting 18-20 mpg, which was a big change.
