Aftermarket Floor Mats

To those interested:

I wanted darker mats so that they would not show dirt so I purchased a set of floor mats for my '05 coupe with the "beige" interior from ggbailey.com. The "lava" color matches the darker portions (brownish) almost perfectly! I also got "G35" embroidered on mine in orange to match the orange stitching on the steering wheel. I could have also gotten orange serging, but I thought that would have been over the top. Also, don't go with the recommended "taupe" heelpad because it does not match well at all. I would recommend not getting the heelpad because of this unless you get orange or something.

They have great customer service! I even expect them to send me a new mat because I am so unhappy with the "taupe" heelpad. I think they will come through. Let me know if you are going to order some, and I'll give you the code to get FREE shipping!

They were $120 for a set of 4, and they are an exact match to the factory mats. They will make them bigger or how ever you want if you send them patterns of what you want.

damn that is pricey. I would rather get an extra set of mats and get em dirty but at least they are OEM.

What i usually do is buy cheap set of floor mats at autozone, and put the on top of the OEM and at the end of the winter either throw them out or just wash them and save it till next winter.

They are a little pricy, but I would bet a complete set of the OE mats would be $80~$90. I usually buy another set of OE mats to get dirty but decided to look for something a little darker than the OE mats since I have the "beige" interior. Plus, they are more custom, and the carpet material is much better than the OE mats so it's worth the extra $30.

Why not go to Wally World(Wal-Mart) and pay for black plastic ones that have the deep ridges which will trap up the dirt and rocks for at most $20? My gf and I got some for our G's and granted it's not a perfect fit but it covers about 99% of the areas which get dirty...I only have to vacuum every two weeks or month at most...Hmm...that sounds like a novel idea... Sorry but IMO i can't see wasting $80-90 for pieces of plastic even if it is a perfect fit....

well if we're talking carpeted mats then OEM is $80... but since it comes with those anyway, i would think you'd want the all season mats?

A full set of all season mats are currently around $70... I bought my mats when they were only $52 for a set of 4 from grubbs... they've been great so far and even protected my carpets from an ice cream spill and soda spill lol...

so those are custom carpeted mats? no wonder they're pricey... still though, i don't think i'd want to get mats that are more expensive than OEM when they're just gonna get dirty anyway... how about posting some pics so we can see what these things actually look like compared to stock...

I love the OEM All-weather mats personally.
Look good, fit perfect, and extremely easy to keep clean.

Both front mats I keep year round as the all-weather ones, I left two rear mats as the carpeted ones since no one hardly sits back there.

but to each his own

But won't aftermarket floormats void my warrenty? I heard it from a guy who's brother-in-law used to work at Nissan Corporate that they are starting to nail drivers that modify thier cars like this. I'd be really careful!
