Press the button and a computer will pop out of your dash. Sorry! I couldn't resist. It just turns your compass display off and on.

Comp

It may adjust the reading to compensate for magnetic north versus true north.

The tire pressure warning light is on your dash and it looks something like: (!)
The mpg is displayed only if you have Navigation.

Wanna come to Towers tomorrow with Luis and me?

Do people really not have their owner's manuals? Or is it that reading it just never occurs to people when they have a question regarding their car?

If you hit "comp" you get free grammar lessons. This includes lesson 1: Spacing after punctuation!

I was just wondering. No inconvenience for me, especially since I'm not the one who answered the question.

This button is used to calibrate the compass based on where you are in the world. Basically there are different sections (like time zones). You'll need the manual to figure out what zone you are in (if you messed with it)

Did you check in the compartment above the glove box? The manual isn't actually in the glove box, there's a special compartment for it above the glove box.
Sorry if you already checked there. I just want to cover all possibilities. I'm not sure if I would've found it right away if the salesman didn't show it to me when I bought my car.

I think a lot of people keep theirs in the trunk too. Maybe you might want to check in there, the carrying case it comes in has velcro attached to the back to stick onto the carpet. I attach mine to the carpet on the back of the back seats in the trunk.
