I wonder what the Infiniti service manager would say?
Hmmmm I see I see, this is a serious problem indeed. Now could you please explain to us when you first noticed the headroom shrinking problem? Is it before or after your head got bigger?
I see, we've heard from other owners with similar issues in the past, perhaps a TSB is called for. In the mean time, I would recommend trying not to drive the vehicle from the rear seat, as it would be difficult for you to reach the steering wheel and pedals. If your rear passengers complain, we could give you some ear plugs or some tapes for their mouth.
Maybe we should all put some $$$ together and develop a bubbletop rear windshielf similar to the original batmobile.

As for hitting your head on the glass in an accident. If you just lean your head forward, I suppose, but then you'd have a monster neck-ache. All my friends just sit farther forward in the chair, such that their head's are actually resting on the headrest. Granted, that prob won't work if you have a tall guy in the front seat, but my friends are pretty understanding, and they'll both compromise on seating position.
Inside I'm laughing at them, that they wanted me to drive, even though the 6'2 fellow has a comfy 4 door camry to tool around in, but said he didn't mind sitting in the back of my G.
(I'm also secretly staring at them in my mirror, to make sure they don't touch their greasy hair on my rear tint )
