Body Shop (NJ)
Body Shop (NJ)
Hey all,
Quick story - got rear-ended in my 2 month old 05 6MT Coupe. Whole lower bumper is smashed in like an accordian, exhaust scratched, rim scratched, and trunk is off. The gasket for the gas tank is ripped off as well.
Long story short, obviously it was THEIR fault and their insurance is going to cover the repair. Please, I am in desperate need to find a shop that will restore my car to brand new condition. I can't even tell you how upset I am over this, especially with how careful I am with my new car. I am located in central new jersey and would prefer a shop within the area. I called up Circle Infiniti in Long Branch and they recommended Ocean Auto Body. Should I go with the dealer recommendation?
Thanks so much

I would not go to a body shop recommended by a dealership. Not if you want your car back to 100%. In central jersey, I'd recommend MRC motorsport in Spotswood, NJ. http://www.racemrc.com
Thats 2 for Quality Auto in Rahway -- Ray Catena recommended them personally as the only body shop they use for their cars. I think that is who I am going to go with. I hope they are good because its a trip to get out there for me and I want the car to look brand new.
