I've got the mod bug

........but no job, and no money. I am workin on the job thing, which would then help the money idea. Now when i get a job, I am sure it will not be high paying due to it being a college job. What would you guys reccomend as some low cost mods, both performance or show. Just give me a little input on some nice cheap mods. Thanks in advance

well, look around on the forum a little. I can recommend clear corners ($35) as a first mod--easy, simple and looks good. As far as performance mod, you can do the z-tube/pop charger route, which i think runs for about what, $175 total? I would start with those, then once you get some money you can move on to other stuff. Tint is also another first mod idea. You can get the clears and z-tube/pop charger at www.everythingg35.com

z-tube + popcharger or k&n filter.
lowering springs
engine bay dress-up accessories
stickers

I think most mods are pretty expensive.

well i already have tint. I have a system and a nice 2 way pager alarm. Got those back when i had a job and could actually save money somehow. Thanks for the help guys. And stickers? those are good for what a good 50-60 whp? GREAT idea. I'm not sure why i have not thought of that already! brilliant! I know springs are about 150 but I'm not too handy as far as installation goes, so how much would it cost to get he springs installled?

if you're looking for speed, there is one mod that you can do for free. remove everything from your car that are unnecessarily weighing it down. you know, the little things like passenger seat, doors, rear seats, ac, radio, all carpeting, etc...

Scour the marketplace here and at My350Z for inexpensive aftermarket parts.
Sorry to hear of the job loss, but this may be a good time to sit back and plan your mods and locate some good deals.
Minor intake mods, grounding, and clear corners are popular relatively inexpensive mods that can be found for resale.
G/L with the ride and job hunting

My fav mod is FREE!

Its called de-badging your car.

Ive done this to every car ive owned and i LOVE the clean look it gives...

It doesnt cost anyhting to take parts OFF your car!

Try it out (if u havent already)

Otherwise, take your spare change to Walmart and cash it in for some bills...
