What size tires?

Lowered?

good luck

A 1 piece wheel is just that, a wheel made out of one piece of material. A 2 piece is made out of two and can be "split" apart (usually center to outer) and a 3 piece wheel is made out of three pieces and can be split apart as well (center to outer front lip and rear lip section). Pro's to a multipiece wheel is that you can take them apart for custom paint and chrome applications. You can build them to closer "center to lip" tolorences for a more dramatic effect, you use different metals and or material, and although some say multi-piece rims are easier to repair in that you just buy the "damaged section", I've yet to find a wheel company (have asked Volk, BBS and Asanti) who will sell you as a replacement a damaged section. The con's are that they cost more than one piece wheels, sometimes weigh more (depending on material), and when damaged, they're often unrepairable.

More info on my rubbing

Tires are 275/35/19 in the rear. Car is lowered a little bit on some springs by espilir. I think thats the name of them. But anyways, do not want to touch the fenders, kinda stuck between a rock and hard place.

Might have to roll the fenders or raise it back up. How much do those springs drop it?

Not that I'm happy for your situation, but I'm glad it wasn't just me with that problem. I haven't seen many people on this forum with C4's (maybe about 6 others).

Anyhoo, when I first bought my C4's I researched the hell out of them and determined that in order for a perfect fit, I'll need 19x9 +26 in front and 19x10 +22 in back. Well when the dumarse vendor sent me 19x10.5 +22 for the rear, he said that's what Racing Hart recommends for the 350z/G35. I told him that I don't care what they recommend, I ordered 19x10 +22 offset. He said try them on anyways and see if they fit, if not then return them for the size I requested.

So I tried them on, and as I suspected, they were a little wide and stood outside the rear fender a bit. I immediately thought I would have to roll the fenders.

So I sent them back to the vendor and after a little hassle he said he would send me what I asked for. He lied again, and sent me 19x10 +17 offset. Now I don't know how much you know about offsets, but the lower the offset, the further your rims go out the wheel well (increases the risk of fender rubbing). So I tried them on and they stuck outside the fender too. I tried to send them back to the vendor, but then he said he was going to charge me a restocking fee, and I would have to special order the 19x10 +22 rims which could take up to 6 months!

I got tired of the headache, so to fix it without having to roll the fenders, I took it to a wheel shop where they shaved down about 4 millimeters off the mounting surface on the rim. This increased the offset, and therefore brought the wheel inside the wheel well more. Theoretically this gives my rear wheels a 19x10 +20 offset. Now they fit perfect with no rubbing and I lowered it about an inch all around!

I apologize for the long story, but one persons shared experience is another persons educated decision.

Do you know the size of your rims and offset? Maybe you can shave down the mounting surface a little. But don't do too much because you don't want to damage the structural integrity of the rim.

Rolling your fenders

Is it bad to roll the fenders. thats what they told me they need to do to prevent the rubbing. i dod not want to touch the body. i'm kinda stuck. Maybe the offset is wrong like g said but not much i can do. any feedback on rolling is welcome.....
