Spoiler & Dummy Brake Light

So I made the mistake of buying a coupe with no spoiler but had the dealer put it on for me because "they put them on at the port anyway". Well, I hate how dealers lie, but that story aside, I'm stuck with a dummy break light that I don't like - not OEM looking with the spoiler.

Question - has anyone done a mod to get rid of it and make the back dash look good?

Thanks.

You can remove it, but you'll be stuck with a hole in there where the brake light used to be.. What you can do is ask your dealer to disconnect the window 3rd brake light (only the spoiler one will work) and then have your windows tinted. Just make sure they tint the entire window and don't cut out a piece around the brake light. No one is even going to know it's there.

IMO keep it there.. this way when you break the guy behind you will just see alot of red and hopefully he'll stop =)

Dual center mounted brake lights look tacky IMO. You can disconnect the 3rd brake light or remove it all together and patch the hole with something.

As long as its disconnected, I think it looks fine there, and I really don't have a problem with it.

My third brake light is disconnected and just sits idle. It's all fine and works for me.

Having the 3rd brake light enabled with a factory spoiler is gay. Just disconnect it yourself and get tinted windows then install a radar detector in the 3rd brake light housing. Now that's stealth. I did it in my accord and you couldn't tell it was even there.
