First, want to say hi to everyone... I am new to this forum.

Second, I am looking to buy a G35C 6MT around the Sacramento area. Do you think I can get one under MSRP? If so, how much under? Some opinions and/or prices that you paid for yours would be good, so it gives me an idea of how to deal with the dealers around here Thanks.

 

the answer is no for 6mt, on the other hand, if u wana get a 5at. u might get a 500-1000 off if lucky. which im hoping to get it myself gl to us both.

 

I was able to get a fully loaded 6MT minus the Navi at $600 under MSRP. It took about 2 hours of haggling and threatening to walk out. However, I did wait till the end of the month and I did go to a dealer that had the car there on the lot. That may have affected how much they wanted to move the car. You may have to **** of several people at several dealerships but I think it can be done. There have been others whom have done it. Just remember the dealer is not your friend and most likely you will rarely if ever see them again. So be a stubborn tight-wad cuz it's your cash and they don't care if you go broke. Good luck! called a dealer, spoke to a rep, asked hours, some misc questions.

went to local dealer, test drove, etc...talked prices, no break.

called first dealer back, said i want to buy, told options, said this is stick price, gave amt. said i'll give him 1000 less. said no brainer of sale, will be stealing it from other guy.
he wanted to split diff, i said other guy spent time and effort and he is near house. also, the guy he'd be getting sale from, is biggest in world in sales.

put down credit card dep.
done deal.
awaiting deliv of my sept 04

 

The G35 coupe is in such high demand right now, you'll be lucky to get any kind of break, regardless of the package, well at least thats the case here in the NY Tri-State area.

i am in central nj.
ray catena (in edison) was place i test drove.
douglas (in summit) is where i bought.

on phone, douglas rep gave indication he could deal a little on coupe, more on sedan.

I live in CT and got $500 off a 6mt...it's all about playing competing dealers..
