yummy tasty premium speakers and amps - NOT.

Paper junk with magnets no bigger than ear bud magnets... I'm gutting it all this weekend. Got fed up, sold a ton of junk on ebay to fund this experience. Boy am I glad I paid for this blose junk.

I know how to fix it.
Get rid of the Blose and customize. After market ALWAYS sounds better.

Yep I did 4 also

soon as you turn it on sounds like crap

put the bass on 3 then 4
then treble on 3 then 4
and its way better sounding.

Garbage sterio
i've had my stereo replaced once. if u run a search u should find it ... i have a picture attached with my work order and what they exactly did (part numbers and all). my stereo still sounds as crappy as it once did. settings are still being reset after start-up. i would not recommend having the dealer replace the stereo unless they can guarantee that it will solve the problem. after the install i found a small scratch on the aluminum looking trim just above the passenger glove box.... and today i've noticed that this same trim piece is coming off of the dashboard. i've already made an appointment to get it fixed. not sure if it's related to my stereo swap or not... but i would bet that it is. at least i have no rattles.

yea no way im taking it to the dealer. I would rather just have had a quick fix, but it seems there arn't any.

Guess Ill change the sterio eventually. Does taking the bose out affect my XM radio?

its such a small issue... but it drives me insane.

that's basically what happened to me. came to pick up the car ... and the guy tells me everything is normal and no fix is needed. so i drag his fat @ss to my car sit him down and show him. he's like ... yeah, i hear it now. i told him to stop playing games with customers and fix the damn thing because it's a frigging nuissance. why do dealer's suck so bad anyways? sounds to me like your dealer knows nothing about the problem as well... if so, i recommend they don't touch it. your better off in the long run.

Yeah the dealer really can't do anything about it. I guess you can blame Infiniti's choice to chose BOSE, but I would assume you would have to take this up with Bose. This only happens on the 05's, and I have an 04 so it doesen't reset for me.

Sorry you guys are having problems with the BOSE.....I checked the TSB listing and there is nothing out there yet for this. They apparently do not have a fix for it yet.

However, this resetting of the Bass & Treble to zero gives a new meaning to the old phrase, "No Highs....No Lows....Must be BOSE!".

I'm on my third Bose sound system with my 4 1/2 month old g35c, and this one seems to be working right. The CD picks up where it left off, and does not reset, when you restart the car. I had problems with the CD player rejecting nearly all discs with the original, and the display went out on the first replacement before I ever left the dealer. I spoke with Bose about the problems and they told me the same thing that Armani350GT reported. The CD is Infiniti's problem. The dealer service manager told me that sound system problems are his #1 warranty repair on our cars.
