i dont get this reset thing for bose audio system.
mine doesnt do that!
well here comes...
sunroof - i use it 24/7 in VA
bose - not that bad...so far
steering wheel - i think it's quite useful
climate control - like someone said, my passenger is never like me so it's useful...i guess;
auto on and off lights - i am not gonna comment on this one but i think it's better than without one.
auto dimming - i love it! at night on highway, some cars' HID kill me...i wish that infiniti makes auto dimming for side mirrors as well. (i know JDM has one but...i meant from factory)
homelink - yes i use it! i am the only person who uses the garage (sometimes my parents) but it's better than getting one of those remote control garage openner.

overall, i'd give 95 out of 100 for premium pkg

I think the main thing that Premium package can do without is Leather.

I HATE LEATHER. I liked how on my 03 they had option of cloth and now 05 have no such option.

BOSE system is ok in my case. I would have rather opted to do my own custom system, but Stupid infiniti does not want to give you an option of sing/double din radio for US market.

All other things are ok. Good to have but pointless considering most of us dont share the car with anyone else in the family (I sure dont and never will)

 

At first I debated for a long time on whether or not I wanted it, but it was really hard to find a car with out it, and I got a good deal on my car, so I figured what the hell, I will get it. Now that I have it, I really like it. I don't have that Bose resetting problem that most people have, the auto dimming mirror has saved my eyes more that enough times already and I actually use the home link. I hated having to dig around the car for my garage door opener, now I just reach up. Its nice. The absolute only thing I don't like is the auto headlights.

 

I'm terribly happy with my bone stock G, mostly due to the additional headroom and $$$ saved. I would ahve like the performance package with the 19's and LSD, but that would have been a 3 month wait. For 31K this car is loaded bone stock IMO.

 

Good resale and good features. I liked all mine on my Coupe and got a good price on selling.

-Power glass sliding sunroof. (How could you not want a sunroof on a brand new car?)
-225-watt Bose® premium audio system with 8 speakers and AM/FM/cassette, in-dash, single-slot 6-disc CD autochanger. (doesnt reset my settings, not the best bose setup but alot better then most car companies optional systems)
-Power tilt and telescoping steering wheel. (nice little option if someone other then you uses your car.)
-Dual-zone climate control. (love this option actually)
-Auto on/off headlights. (your paying 35-40k for a car, dont you feel nice that it does stuff on its own? )
-Electrochromic auto-dimming inside mirror. (doesnt bother me wouldnt miss it if it wasnt there)
-HomeLink® Universal Transceiver. (very helpfull for me)


Plus what others have said, when you goto sell your car you will be happy you took the premium package.

 

uhhh... for what car (that's around $35k) is the optional stereo as sh!tty as ours? none! Even my old van (Town&Country) with the full 8 Speaker Infinity sound system (Dealer option) sounded better than the Bose. Hell, even the Mercedes standard Bose sounds better than this. (*!@#)(*!#*()!

Hurrrayyy for no sunroof. I love my "Base" model. It make my car RARE! To each is own and what you want. I am not a sunroof lover and like the extra head room. If you want to let the heat out, hold the unlock button and lower the windows as you walk up to the car. I would definitely order the same car again if I had to

Well, I got premium because almost every car that dealers order are ordered in Premium packages. I couldn't live without the sunroof, but the other features are nice. I love the auto-dimming mirror, homelink, and auto lights.

Only thing I hate is the Bose Stereo. Its honestly a joke, it sounds so bad.

 

i have the base cloth...wanted the one with premium but the dealer wouldnt give us the price we wanted...sometimes i regret not having leather and a sunroof (only things i would really want)...but in the end im just happy i got the car!

 

I am glad that I didn't get sunroof for this reason... my little red ... have to special order the 05 without it... I am getting it next month

 

Love the sunroof, auto lights, and dimming mirror. If you are buying a $35000+ car. Premium is not really that much.
