you don have to do anything unitl the first maint. is listed..i think its 3500 or 3750mi...

You may or may not need to change your oil at 1200 miles. I did have mine changed at 1600 miles. It is just something, which I have done with all my new cars.
Regardless of what you may do . . . Do yourself a favor and monitor the engine's level of oil consumption. My G was 1.5 qts. low at the first 1600 miles. I drove my G quite conservatively during those first 1600 miles, as well.

You don't have to do anything at 1200 miles. At all.
Some people think for whatever reason that they should change their oil at this point. Thats up to you. Personally, I'd save your money, since there isnt exactly any reason to do so.
