gas foot rubbing?

does anybody else have this problem?

My right foot tends to rub against the carpeted area when i am driving. I know there is a plastic piece there but that piece is placed too low and my foot will rub agains the carpet. I imagine after a few more months of this that will be rubbed bare...

does anybody hvae a similar problem?

It only happens when i go to work with my work shoes.. I dont know what i can do about this.

No, not on the floor mat. I mean against the side of the center area that divides the two footwells. So yeah, i guess it would be to the right of the gas pedal..

My shoes aren't that narrow, i'm not really sure what you would consider a wide shoe though. They are shoes i wear for work so they are a little on the dressy side.

i've had my car for 3 mo. and 8200 miles, and i've got 2 spots, pretty much bare from my heels(6MT ) I also wear dress shoes for work (which requires driving FOR work) I have since kept a pair of spare nike dunks for driving. You would think these mats are a bit tougher. My 92 integra mats lasted over 13 years before the spots started to come.

Big Foot....?

HAHA....funny posts, I wear size 13 Wide and haven't noticed any wear after
5 years driving my G. Sometimes I feel the brake and gas pedal are too close
togeather but I'm aware of this issue and try to be carefull.

In my 08 Corolla the mats lasted about a month and a half. And no, not spots, there is a effing hole going straight through the entire mat. It was at about 1,000 miles and it had a hole in the mat. I can't wait to get rid of that **** and get a G35
