trunk storage - what do you use?

What do you guys use to keep all the stuff in your trunk - such as jumper cable, tools, cleaning stuff, first aid kit etc? I have used a large clear plastic container in my other car but it looked kinda tacky.

Does Infiniti make any kind nicer/fancier storage container/bin for the trunk? Any links to pictures or prices would be great.

Thanks

I use to carry so much crap but now I dont, all I carry is water, may california duster 9works well), some shop towels and the first aid kit that came with the car. All in the cargo net, I hate things moving around.

I hate things moving around too - in my BMW I would use a bungee cord to keep the container from moving, it worked very well.

Any container/storage bin ideas guys?

You could put velcro strips on the bottom of the bin to keep it from sliding around.

However, it sounds like you can take most of that stuff out of your trunk. What kind of cleaning stuff do you carry around? All you would need is quick detailer and a towel, right? There is already a 1st aid kit between the rear seats. What tools & why?

Only the jumper cables are a good idea to have, but probably not necessary, as your battery and alternator should be good for a few years. You can always call Roadside assistance too.

I just use the cargo net. It contains a few bottles of water, 1 quick detail spray, 1 microfiber, 1 roll of paper towels, 2 small garbage bags. Everything else stays in the garage.

Guess I just like having some extra tool son me just in case. My BMW came with a small trunk tool box which actually came in handy many times - and I didnt just use the tools on the car either! I also carry water, paper towels, some windex, tinted window cleaner etc.

Whatever light stuff goes is the cargo net. Any extra tools go under the floor in the spare tiretool storage area.

Jumper cables wrapped around the spare. (Fits like it was made for it.) Car cover, driving mocs, driving gloves, and tire gauge all fit in a Wilson (TM) sport bag. Car docs are in the original Infiniti case. My wife still complains that there is no space.
