Hi guys... I accidently hit a tree and made a big dent on my rear bumper
I live in Massachusetts (Boston area). Can anyone please redommend me on where is the best autobody shop in the Boston area? I really love and care about my coupe. So I just want to get the bumper fixed as good as new.

You accidently hit a tree? jeez , well that sucks. Not sure about bodyshops but i will tell you that you will probably need a whole new bumper cover. Good luck man

It was dark and I did not see it. Yeah I know I'm gonna need a new bumper.
Any recommendations on which auto body shop I should go to?

Your best bet is not to get the OEM bumper repaired, but rather replaced, as working with Urathane, the end results will never be perfect. Just get the bumper from Infiniti or a fellow G member who's taken his or hers off in place of an aftermarket one, then take it to a local body shop to have the work done.... Or if you're up for the drive, I'm in Norwalk, CT (about 2 hours and change from you), I'll be more than happy to get you a bumper (whatever the dealer cost is and how ever long it will take to get) then have it prepped and painted (will take an addditional 2 days) and install it for you (install will take about an hour) all for $400 on top of the bumper cost. So you'll basically be paying $400 for the prep work, paint, and install, which I think is a pretty good price considering the amount of work and all... If I can be of any help, drop me a line...

You definitely will want to go with getting a new/reconditioned bumper cover over having them try to repair the one you have. I have a friend whose son smacked her mailbox when he wanted to try the car out - 800$ later, she had a new bumper cover and paint match.

I hit an armadillo last year and had to have the front bumper cover replaced. It ended up being about 600$ for everything and was done very well. I wish I were MA to make a recommendation, but I'm in GA. You may want to ask your dealer who they'd recommend. That's what I did and had a very good end result.
