You absolutely have to fight the carb cert ticket on the intake. The reason, chances are you didn't get a carb certificat because it is located ON THE INTAKE. fight this one tooth and nail. No cats after the headers... OOPS. After every modification, go to get your car California Carb certified. If you can prove that in it's condition you can pass Cali Carb Cert, You can fight your tickets and get out of them. Did they take your car? They are very knowledgeable about this crap out there. THey go through lots of special training. While I was in the bay area I saw LOTS of people pulled over by about 5 or 6 cops with the hood open and measuring the distance from the ground to the center of the headlight and all kinds of stuff. The traffic cops generally call in backup and the backup specializes in street racing and the modifications. They are the cops with highly modified supras that they drive at night... If you can't pass C.A.R.B. then you are screwed, but fight the intake for sure.
