19 inch rims
19 inch rims
i have a 04 coupe with 18 inch wheel pack. i wanted to know if i get after market wheels like the Volk racing will that lift my car IN ANY WAY even if i get low profile tires. and how bad is it going from 18s to 19s i herd of problems with handeling and loss of overall speed.
They won't lift your car IN ANY WAY if you keep the overall tire diameter the same or very close to stock, e.g. you're running 225/45/18 up front, so 245/35/19 would be the closest fit with only 0.8% speedometer error. Play around with this calculator, you can plug in your stock size and various aftermarket sizes

I don't know what you mean by loss of overall speed, your power will suffer a little from going to 1" larger, wider and maybe heavier wheels. It's hardly something you'll notice unless you care about dynoing and tracking your car.
