sounds like the average price....anything under $500 would be a good deal.

not to sound shady, but is it a mobile unit that comes to your home/office? if so, once they get there, start haggling!!!! if they don't budge on the price, hint that you won't do it. most will lower the price a bit since they're already there......kind of messed up, but they're charging too much to begin with. at $590, their profit margin is probably about $400 minimum....for two hours of work, that's more than what some doctors make!!!!

I paid $640 for Avery-Denison on the bumper, hood, fenders, headlights, mirrors, door cups, and driver door edge. 4 hr. install.

I would find out what brand of film and whose design pattern they are using.

One person could use the new 3M on X-pels pattern and another guy could use llumar with no-clearcoat and hand cut on your car.

Both guys are installing "Clear-Bras" on a car, which would you rather have on your car. Take your time and do your homework. Ask for film samples from different manafacturers and see what looks best to you. I re-due alot of "good deals"

Here's a link to their site, and I sent the guy an email to find out what type of film they use.

That quote is from Envisage in Torrance? I heard they do very good work. I was considering getting a clearbra installed on my coupe from them too. Now is that $585 a good price? If so, I'll probably try to get in on it now too. I wonder how much StickerCity charges.

$585 is a very good price.
Xpel makes a good pattern. It goes up the hood farther than others.
Installation will most certainly take over 2.5 hours, unless they have 3-4 guys working at the same time. Mine took almost 6 hrs w/ 2 guys.

My 96 Accord has rock chips galore on the hood. I wouldn't pay for a clearbra for it, but I am enjoying it on my G!

The guys over at EDL do top-notch work. They, along w/ us, work on exotics on a daily basis and produce some of the cleanest work in the industry. Tell them Sam from Premier sent you and they will take good care of you.

As for Autowerks mentioning whether it's precut or handcut.......it depends a lot on the installation company's experience. Custom cutting (hand cutting) will provide better results if the installer(s) know what they're doing. Only some 95% of companies cannot properly do custom bulk cutting, which is why most use precut kits.

Just a quick note..........get references guys! Some companies make claims and also provide pics, but when closely analyzed, some of these pics are secretly taken in parking lots.

Here's some pics of what custom looks like (new F430): http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showt...highlight=f430

This is a full custom app - full hood, full doors, rockers, full front bumper, fenders, lights, etc.
