Just wanted to add my opinion on this whole deal with the G plate.

I think clokwork was great. Yeah sure he had to send us a few parts after the main G plate got sent to us but hey we were his first customers. I'm surely not going to dog him just beacuse of that. I respect the fact that he's going into business on his own and I'll support that all the way. The G plate is working great. I received the longer screw and the brace recently but I haven't had the opportunity to put it on yet. I'm too lazy right now to take it apart again. It works great right now but I'll eventually put everything on. Clokwork is a nice guy, the plate works great, and I'm a happy customer. I definitely recommended it.

Clokwork,

Shouldn't your trader rating be climbing rather quickly now?

I think we need the arm brace support because when I tried the install, the plate is too close to my bumper and the screws touch the bumper and are too long.....Clokwork, where are you? to help us with this situation.

Hey man I am here.

The newer version with the aluminum plate does not need the brace bar. It will absolutely not touch your bumper. Do you have it installed with the 9th nut in the kit behind the washer as shown on the page??
