If you search through the older posts you'll see a lot said about both products. I could be wrong, but I believe in some tests the Z tube showed HP losses. I personally have the injen CAI and I love it. If your planning on modding your car, this is an awesome website...you can do a lot of homework here and see what works, what doesn't, get some ideas, compare pricing, etc....

Goodluck and Happy MOdding!!

If you need a ztube and/or popcharger, I'll sell you mine for cheap. Let me know.

Goodluck,
Jeff

search it and read a lot, it will just make you even more confused. I would go with cold air, either Injen, AEM, or Nismo

Cold air all the way.... Injen is the one I have. But AEM and Nismo will be just as good.

I have seen no tests to indicate taht the ztube causes a loss in power. In fact there was a comparison done a while back that showed that in the particular test it out performed the other intake mods.

No way a z tube would cause power loss since it's on the 350z which has more power.

test actually have proven that CAI have led to power loss. esp on hot days. if its a hot day, you will def feel the lag in the car. the z tube and k&n will always be the same. i have z-tube k&n and love it. you still get a slight whistle
