754 miles into my ownership experience

and I decide to wash the G last night (had a couple of long highway trips this week).

Anyhow, as I am drying the black beauty down, I notice a nice pin sized chip in the hood. Now, I am getting a clear bra installed at the end of August so until then I guess I just need to be lucky and avoid highway pebbles.

My question is......what do you guys suggest as far as fixing the chip I have now? I have heard of these touch up air brush type shops, but I dont have any experience with them. I have also heard about the touch up pen, but have never used it. Any input is appreciated.

Sorry, cannot help you with the paint. However, congrats on your new G and your decision to install a clear bra type product will serve your G well.

Pin sized chips are so easy to fix on black. Get either the brush or pen style and go to town. Either one is easy to use.

Do you know where I could order the pen?

I'd say it depends upon if you are a perfectionist or not. A touch-up will certainly minimize the problem, but it will certainly not make it disappear, especially on the hood.

Thanks for the info. I think I will search for a touch up place as I dont want to screw it up worse than it already is.
