DG owners with OEM spoilers. Wanna trade?

Hey, any DG coupes out there with OEM spoilers that plan to go with something different? If you want to go with the non-spoiler look, or go with an aftermarket, then I’d like to trade parts with you. I’ve got a non-spoiler DG coupe in Houston, Texas, and I’ve decided to go with the OEM spoiler if I can find someone to trade.

The trade involves the trunk lid, trunk lid struts, rear deck brake light, rear deck, and a couple of short wiring harnesses. My trunk lid is totally clean and has all the badging.

FYI, if you plan to get rid of the OEM spoiler, then you need to get the rear window brake light, which also requires a rear deck panel that has the correct cutout. Trading with somebody is a great way to take care of this.

I’m in Houston, Texas. Any fellow Houstonians with diamond graphite coupes that want to trade? Reply to this thread or PM me.

There's a guy in this forum that wants to sell his DG OEM spoiler for 150. Try talking to him than to change the whole trunk.

Thanks for the tip, Armani. I did a search earlier for spoilers, but guess I missed that one. I hope he's also got the upgraded trunk struts.

Just curious, why are you trading the struts too?

It's the trunk lid "struts", which lift the trunk lid. The OEM spoiler is too heavy for the standard struts, so Infiiniti has a set of stronger ones that go with the spoiler.

Yes, I realize that they are trunk lid struts.

Hm, thats pretty interesting that they use two different ones...so people who are adding the OEM spoiler are also chaning the struts? Never knew that.
