Survey
Survey
After I bought my car the dealer said come back when you get your survey and We will fill it out together and I will give you a free gift.
I told my friend who owns a 350z about this and he said DO NOT send in the survey. He said once you do you go on a list of people who already did the survey and you will get lesser service from the dealer after. He said keep the survey so if they ever give you bad service you can rip them on the survey.
I just got it in the mail and the dealer has already asked me twice if it came in already. I just wanted to know what you guys think.
Thanks

LMAO! This ones FUNNY!
Whether you fill out the survey or not, doesnt mean you'll get any less or poorer service from your dealership. That's just absurd! The survey is used by Infiniti (headquarters) to rank dealerships on customers satisfaction and offer "perks" to the sales and service team who get good marks. It's like when you we're a kid and you had to sell magazine subscription, and for every 10 you sold you got a prize, well the dealer survey works the same way. The prizes are sometimes just that prizes (shirts, hats, trips, tv's...), but the biggest factor is cold hard CASH! Yearend (or 1/4'ly) bonuses are also often tied into dealer surveys, and the team member with the most surveys or the highest marks gets a little something extra. Also this is one way rasies are earned in many dealerships (M-Benz if one example). That's why dealerships are so "hard" on getting you to fill out the survey, and they'll even offer to do it with you (LMAO)...
Once the survey is done, its sent out and you don't end up on a "blacklist" or anything like that. In fact, the next time you go in for service or something major, you may just get another survey, so to think you'll get treated any less, that's not true!
Also if you give the dealerships (or your sales person) high marks on the survey, then one day something happens and you're pissed, you can easily contact Infiniti consumer affairs dept (reached through their 1-800 number) and voice your concearn. That gets recorded and officially documented at your request. Heck, they'll even call the dealerships and or the person in question for you right their on the spot and see if they can't resolve the matter.
The bottom line, don't be "afraid" of the survey! If your sales person treated you right and you're happy with the sale or service of your vehicle, return the favor by giving them or the dealerships the grade they deserve.

I got my survey about two weeks after I bought the car, and I filled it out a few days later. One of the questions on the survey is whether anyone at the dealership talked to you about the survey. No one mentioned that there would be a survey at my dealership and if they did I would have answered yes. The way I look at it is that if you do a great job, your customers will reward you with a good report. I don't like being bribed. It's not professional and suggests that they don't feel that they can do a good enough job to justify a good report.
I already have floor mats for my car tho!! I bought some from target lol.
Damnit, whyd my friend have to tell me not to fill it out he said theyll give u crap service if u do.
